After the End by Clare Mackintosh

I have had this on my TBR pile for a while and I finally got around to reading it. I did have to pace myself a bit because of the, at times, difficult content but nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed this

My name is Leon by Kit De Waal

I read this for the Clare Mackintosh online bookclub. I will admit that it isn’t something I would normally read but it turned out to be a fantastic choice. There were nice, short chapters and the story itself was rather heartbreaking.
