November Books

Here is what I read during November

Doctor Sleep by Stephen King

I absolutely adore Stephen King’s novels. Doctor Sleep is the follow on to The Shining and many of those characters are mentioned in this book. It was nice to read what happend after the incident at the Overlook and to see how Danny grew up. It was an intereting but enjoyable read.

The Chalk Man by C.J.Tudor

I’ve had this book on my shelf for a while, well I finally got around to reading it and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed how it came full circle in the end. The way in which the author switched back and forth really brought the story together.

Don’t Think a Single Thought by Diane Cambridge

Not my usual read but it was for bookclub. I did enjoy it but I did take my time to figure out what was going on. It was a nice little book and I have now discovered a new author.

Lies, Lies, Lies by Adele Parks

Another wonderful read from Adele Parks. Gripping from the start and a lovely pace throughout. Some parts were slightly over descriptive and unnecessary but other than that it was a gripping read.
